Chung ha and the Spanish version of “Demente” with guaynaa is the first experiment K-Pop latin

After the Anglophone countries, it is also time to influence and reach the Latin audience for the K-Pop. The first artist to step forward is the very young chung ha, former member of the I.O.I group, but that since 2017, through his solo career he is collecting a great follow-up internationally. After the single “gotta go” and snapping, last February 15 he debuted with his first official album querencia, inside which it is possible to find the single demente, with the collaboration of the Puerto Rican rapper guaynaa.

The song, originally intended for the Korean/Spanish double version, became the first song entirely in Spanish to be interpreted by an artist K-Pop. Meanwhile in recent days the official video of the song was released, which exceeded four and a half million views on youtube. This is chung ha, the young singer K-Pop who surprised his audience with the song demented, contained in his debut studio album.

The track, initially thought with a double Korean/Spanish version, was then finally used only with the Latin derived language, becoming a deeper record case than it seems. Not only bts and blackpinkBorn in Seoul but raised up to 10 years to dals, chung had a great Spanish influence already in his early years of life, as he told in an interview with teen vogue. Continues the exploration of the K-Pop universe in the western hemisphere, now no longer linked only to the strength of the bands, such as bts and blackpink, but also to phenomena like chung ha and rosé.
