In a few weeks, France 2 will have a new original creation to its viewers, The Garçonne. At the heart of this historic series which results in the Paris of the roaring twenties, Laura Smet. The Boyish, directed by Paolo Barzman, sign the great return of the daughter of Nathalie Baye and Johnny Hallyday on the small screen, after its passage noticed in the series Captain Marleau.
If no start date for broadcast has not yet been communicated by France Télévisions, it is with pride not hidden that Laura Smet has unveiled the trailer for La Garçonne. In The Boyish – co-produced by Mother production (Ten percent) and Gedesel productions, with the participation of France Télévisions, and created by Dominique Lancelot, to whom we owe already Section de Recherches (TF1) -, Laura Smet embody the character of Louise Keriac. This young woman is a witness to the murder of a loved one, committed by agents of the State, and it must disappear in order to avoid the worst. Convinced that it is within the police that she will find out the best way to exculpate themselves, it twists and takes on the identity of his twin brother, broken by the war, to return to the Criminal in his place. She will also find herself face to face with the dark side of his brother during an investigation into the disappearance of young models who posed for the painters of Montparnasse… The war was she able to make the monster as perverse as the evidence seem to indicate ?
In this mini-series is already eagerly awaited, Laura Smet is accompanied by Grégory Fitoussi. The actor, 43-year-old embodies Novel Ketoff, a journalist, a maverick, who does not leave indifferent, at the risk of compromising its coverage. The cast of La Garçonne is completed by Tom Hygreck, Clément Aubert, Aurélien Recoing, Lilly-Flower Pins, Jérôme Deschamps, Noémie Kocher, as well as Aladin Reibel.
The shooting of The Hairstyle dates back to several months previously and, at the time, Laura Smet had shared several images of a project which is very close to my heart.
